Heroes of the past

Other England stars who might prove to be your Euros Cup Predictor heroes include Real Madrid’s Jude Bellingham, and Harry Kane, who is currently setting the Bundesliga alight with his goal scoring prowess at Bayern Munich.

Other potential Euros Cup Predictor heroes

France, Portugal and Belgium all have the potential to produce their own heroes and snatch the trophy. Just recently, Belgian Man City player Kevin de Bruyne single-handedly rescued his club from defeat against Newcastle. Meanwhile, his fellow countryman, Romelu Lukaku, currently on loan to Roma from Chelsea, has already scored 14 goals in the tournament.

Elsewhere, Portugal have heroes of their own, with the legendary Cristiano Ronaldo, who now plies his trade in Saudi Arabia, and Man United’s Bruno Fernandes, both racking up 16 goals each in qualifying.

Perhaps the country most likely to produce one of your Euros Cup Predictor heroes is France. Their side is packed with potential, from AC Milan keeper Mike Maignan, through PSG’s midfield maestro Warren Zaire-Emery, to PSG’s epic striker Kylian Mbappe, who is scoring goals for fun up front.

Rewriting history

As discussed, Jordan Pickford has a shot at rewriting the record books with nine or more clean sheets and Cristiano Ronaldo can extend his remarkable record of 45 tournament goals. But will we see an even rarer hero emerge? Will anyone beat Dmitri Kirichenko’s fastest ever goal at 1min 7secs, or Platini’s fastest hat trick in just 18 minutes? Only time will tell.
