After the last Euros finals were played all across Europe to celebrate the 60th anniversary of the tournament, the Euros return to a single host nation for 2024. They will be held in Germany from 14th June to 14th July next year.
So from which cities will you be watching your Euros 2024 football predictor game matches being played, and which of Germany’s massive modern stadiums will be taking part?
A fine footballing heritage
Germany is no stranger to the biggest stage in football, having hosted the World Cup twice and the Euros once before. As West Germany they hosted the 1974 World Cup, where they won for the second time. A reunified Germany went on to host the 2006 World Cup, but could not repeat their previous success, finishing in third place.
West Germany were also hosts of the Euros in 1998, but were eliminated in the semi-finals. Like practically every other European country, Germany were a host nation for Euro 2020 (played in 2021). The Allianz Arena in Munich was home to Germany’s three games in Group F and the quarter final between Belgium and Italy. Who can forget that Germany were knocked out of the tournament that year by England, who beat them 2-0 at Wembley.
Covering the country
Euro24 will take place in all corners of the country. Venues stretch 380 miles from Hamburg in the north to Munich in the south, and 300 miles from Dusseldorf in the west to Berlin in the east. The tournament also includes Leipzig, the only city that was part of the former East Germany.
In all, you can watch your Euros 2024 football predictor game selections at ten magnificent stadiums in some of Germany’s most iconic and beautiful cities.
Which cities will host games?
The ten Euro24 host football grounds (and their sponsor names) are:
- Berlin - Olympiastadion Berlin
- Cologne - Cologne Stadium (Rhein Energie Stadion)
- Dortmund - BVB Stadion Dortmund (Signal Iduna Park)
- Dusseldorf - Dusseldorf Arena (Merkur Spiel-Arena)
- Frankfurt - Frankfurt Arena (Deutsche Bank Park)
- Gelsenkirchen - Arena AufSchalke (Veltins-Arena)

Berlin was the host of the 2006 World Cup Final and the Champions League Final in 2015. This time around, the 70,000 seater Olympiastadion will host a quarter final as well as the final. It is also home to two Group D games and a Group B game.
The only two cities without a round of 16 game are Hamburg and Stuttgart, with these two hosting quarter finals along with Berlin and Dusseldorf on the 5th and 6th July. Munich and Dortmund host the two semi-finals on the 9th and 10th July, with the final taking place on 14th July in the German capital.
